- 1 lb strawberries (washed and hulled)
- 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
- 1¼ cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 2 tsp pure strawberry extract
- ½ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ¼ tsp pure lemon extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 2–4 drops red food coloring
For the Glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp whole milk (adjust as needed)
- ¼–½ tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Blend strawberries into puree and simmer until reduced to ¼ cup. Cool completely.
- Preheat oven to 325°F and line 8×8 glass pan with parchment.
- Stir melted butter and sugar. Add eggs, extracts, cooled puree, flour, salt, and coloring.
- Bake for 35-40 mins until set. Cool completely.
- Mix glaze until silky and spread over brownies. Allow to set before slicing.
