Description
Honey Butter Skillet Corn is a sweet and savory side dish made in one pan using butter, honey, and corn. Ready in 10 minutes!
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup honey
2 cups frozen corn kernels (thawed if necessary)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
Instructions
-
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
-
Add 2 cups of frozen corn kernels and stir to coat with the butter.
-
Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and slightly caramelized.
-
Pour in 1/4 cup of honey and add the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
-
Stir well to combine and let cook for another 2–3 minutes so the flavors meld.
-
Remove from heat and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley over the top before serving.
Notes
-
Make sure to thaw frozen corn beforehand for even cooking.
-
For added flavor, toss in a splash of lime juice or a sprinkle of chili flakes.
-
Fresh corn can be used in summer months – just slice it off the cob and cook slightly longer.
