Ingredients

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup honey

2 cups frozen corn kernels (thawed if necessary)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.

  2. Add 2 cups of frozen corn kernels and stir to coat with the butter.

  3. Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is heated through and slightly caramelized.

  4. Pour in 1/4 cup of honey and add the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  5. Stir well to combine and let cook for another 2–3 minutes so the flavors meld.

  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle 1 tablespoon of fresh chopped parsley over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Make sure to thaw frozen corn beforehand for even cooking.

  • For added flavor, toss in a splash of lime juice or a sprinkle of chili flakes.

  • Fresh corn can be used in summer months – just slice it off the cob and cook slightly longer.
