Description

This Dill Pickle Bread is a tangy, savory quick bread with the bold flavor of dill pickles, soft crumb, and a hint of buttery richness. Perfect with sandwiches, soups, or enjoyed on its own.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup chopped dill pickles

1/4 cup pickle juice

3 large eggs

1 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until evenly combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, eggs, and milk until well combined.

  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

  5. Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

  7. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use fresh dill pickles for maximum flavor.

Add a pinch of dried dill weed for extra aroma.
