Ingredients
For the Cake:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup apple cider
For the Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1–2 tablespoons apple cider
Pinch of cinnamon
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.

In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the butter mixture.

Stir in apple cider until just combined. Do not overmix.

Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and bake for 60–70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Let cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, apple cider, and cinnamon until smooth.

Drizzle glaze over cooled cake before serving.
